The only extra tip to remember is that because of its exceptionally thick coat, you’ll need to be extra vigilant about rinsing it. You don’t want any soap residue left on the skin. It can be an irritant.
Luckily, bathing your stinky little guy or girl is easy. If you have a tub, do it in there, so your pooch can’t escape. Simply get your little stink bomb good and wet, and lather it up with a good Aloe and Oatmeal shampoo until your Cairn Terrier looks more like a Bichon Frise. Just be sure not to get water in its ears.
Really scrub with your fingertips to get all of the ground in dirt out of its coat and off of its skin.
