Soft Doggie Cookies for Older Dogs with Allergies

Ingredients

  • 3 (2 1/2 oz. each) jars of baby food (any meat that your dog can tolerate, or sweet potatoes if Fido is allergic to most major meats)
  • 1/4 cup powdered milk (can substitute with almond meal or speciality non-dairy powdered milk,
  • 1/4 cup Wheat germ or cream of wheat

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a cookie sheet
  2. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and stir until combined.
  3. Using your hands or a cookie scoop, roll the mixture into small bowls.
  4. Place the balls on the cookie sheet and flatten just a bit with a fork
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Let cool before serving. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, or make a larger batch and freeze.
