An easy and delicious hypoallergenic dog treat recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural applesauce (or chopped apple)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil (or olive oil)
  • 5 cup brown rice flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk (or dry, uncooked cream of wheat)
  • 2 large organic eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients (eggs, coconut oil, water, applesauce)
  4. Gently mix the dry and wet ingredients.
  5. Knead the mix with your hands until it forms a dough.
  6. Refrigerate the dough for about two hours, or until it’s chilled enough to make it easier to work with. You can also chill overnight.
  7. Using your hand or a spoon, scoop out balls of the mix, roll into treats, then flatten with your hand.
  8. Place them on a non-stick baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes
  9. Cool and store in airtight container
