Vegetarian dog treats, like the recipe we’re sharing today, are a great alternative to constantly giving your pooch meat-filled goodies. They’re especially beneficial to pups with allergies to certain types of protein sources. While this particular recipe does call for flour, you can easily swap out a wheat-based one for something like coconut flour or almond meal. The rest of the ingredients are pretty allergy-friendly (unless your dog is allergic to eggs). You can also mix up the vegetables a bit. For example, instead of using just carrots, maybe go with carrots and sweet potato chunks.
