Looking for a fun homemade Halloween dog treat recipe similar to the milk bones that you buy in the store?

Our bone-shaped dog biscuits aren’t just great for the spooktacular holiday season, it’s the perfect treat any time of the year.

The best part?

It costs less than $0.50 a batch to make!

Your pup will love the satisfying crunch, and it’s a whole lot more economical to make your own at home. Plus, with this basic recipe and an arsenal of seasonal cookie cutters, you can change the shape for every holiday!

For our pups with allergies, I’m going to have to say that this one isn’t hypoallergenic, mostly because of the whole wheat flour. You could try making it with coconut flour if you want to give it a whirl.

The powdered milk can cause issues for pups with dairy issues, though. Since it’s a milk bone, I can’t really think of a good alternative for that. If you know of one, please let us know in the comments.

Let’s check out this Halloween dog treat recipe, shall we?

As usual, don’t forget to print the recipe card and watch the video tutorial for detailed instructions.

Super easy, right? And SO much cheaper than a box of biscuits from the store! I love making treats for my dog.

During the summer, I stick with hypoallergenic recipes, but now that his skin sensitivities are clearing up for the season, I can let him indulge in his favorite non-hypo treats again. He loves crunchy treats like this.

Whip up a batch of these Halloween hypoallergenic dog treats to give your dog a fun reward & make his hypoallergenic dog food more fun!

I’m also going to make him some of our yummy hypoallergenic Halloween treats too! Aren’t they cute?
